Xgig1000 with two different hardware platforms

Xgig1000 is the latest version of the Xgig series of Analyzers. Xgig1000 is made lightweight and small to be portable. Xgig1000 is made with 2 different platforms. The different platforms and hardware versions are fixed but the software license keys are flexible. The two different platform are are made for different FC and Ethernet speeds. Platform1 is made for 4/8/16G FC and 10/40G Ethernet. Platform2 is made for 8/16/32/128 GFC and 10/25/100G Ethernet. The 2 port version of Platform1 will only have 10/40G Ethernet. The 4 and 8 port versions of Platform1 can have 10GE and/or 4/8/16G FC. The 10 port version of Platform1 can have 4/8/16G FC and/or 10GE on the first 8 ports and then 10/40GE on the additional two ports. Platform2 does not have a 2 port version. The 4 and 8 port version of Platform2 can have 8/16/32G FC and/or 10/25G Ethernet. The 10 port version of Platform2 can have 8/16/32G FC and/or 10/25GE on the first 8 ports and then 100GE and/or 128G FC on the additional two ports. The software license you choose will tell what FC and/or Ethernet functionality is enabled.

Xgig1000. 10/25G and 100G Ethernet Portable Analysis and Test Platform

The Viavi Xgig1000 32/128 G Fibre Channel and 25/100 G Ethernet platform is the only product that addresses 8G/16G/32G/128G FC and 10/25/100 GE in an integrated, portable platform with reconfigurable ports.  This is a successor to the Xgig 1000 16 G FC and 10/40 GE platform offering the same advantages and value of being a protocol test tool in manufacturer R&D labs and helping field installers deploy and troubleshoot data centers. It is also the only platform to perform inline, non-intrusive capture and analysis and inline jamming (error injection).
